This is a famous temple enshrining the Dragon king, a guardian god which many
fishermen in Japan acknowledge. Behind the temple, there is “Kaibami lake”
which is believed to house the dragon king.

Oyama is famous for making “sake”.
The brewery also displays instruments to make sake and old documents related to producing it.
You can tour the sake brewery space and taste sake there.

At the bottom of Mt. Takadate, one of the 100 mountains selected for forest baths, there are two lakes. One is called “Kamiike”
covered with lotus flowers and the other is “Shimoike” a paradise for migratory birds.
Both lakes are popular for walking around. They are registered in the Ramsar List of 2008.
